A new meeting of the consortium takes place in Tampere
On 11th and 12th March the members of the H2MAC consortium met again in Tampere, hosted by Tampere University.
The consortium members participating in the meeting reviewed the progress of the project and assessed the milestones achieved so far.
On 11th March, the members of the consortium reviewed the status of the work carried out during WP2, which addresses the activities necessary for the design of a modular, scalable and feasible solution of the machines to be manufactured for their transformation from diesel-powered to hydrogen-powered zero-emission machinery, within the field of application of non-road mobile machinery. An update and follow-up of the rest of the working packages concerning this European project was also carried out.
On 12th March, the consortium members had the opportunity to visit the facilities of the mechatronics area of Tampere University, which is in charge of the electrification tasks within the project.
During the visit they were able to see the progress of the test bench that TAU is implementing for the validation of the electrification of the project’s machines (excavator and shredder) and they could see other projects in which this area of the Tampere University is currently working on.
