Project H2MAC: Advancing Industrial Decarbonization and Heavy Machinery Transformation
The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation validates the viability and safety of high-power propulsion systems in harsh environments for industrial decarbonization.
How can we decarbonize those industrial sectors where conventional batteries are simply not enough due to severe operational demands? Heavy machinery used in mining and construction requires technological solutions with extremely high energy density, capable of maintaining performance in extreme situations without generating polluting emissions.
The European project H2MAC was born precisely to mark a historic milestone in the transformation of this non-road mobile machinery. Through a powerful strategic alliance in Aragon, led by ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón), backed by ANMOPYC, and with the active participation of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa), we are projecting our region’s knowledge toward an international market in the midst of an energy transition.
