H2MAC project video – Redefining the machinery of the future
Discover H2MAC, an European project paving the way towards the decarbonisation of heavy-duty machinery for the construction and mining sectors through hydrogen fuel cell technology.
The project aims to design and demonstrate an innovative, efficient, scalable, silent and modular fuel cell electric powertrain for Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM).
Two new hydrogen-powered machines will be developed as part of H2MAC:
đč A 120 kW excavator
đč A 240 kW shredder
Both prototypes will be demonstrated for 1,000 hours under real working conditions in a quarry, testing the performance and reliability of hydrogen fuel cell technology in demanding environments.
