H2MAC at SMOPYC 2026: innovation in a high-impact environment

Our participation in SMOPYC 2026, the International Exhibition of Public Works, Construction and Mining Machinery, one of the leading industry events at European level, which gathered more than 60,000 visitors, has been an excellent opportunity to showcase the H2MAC project and connect with key stakeholders across the ecosystem.

During the event, we carried out several key activities:

✔️ Participation in the technical session on new energy sources, where the role of hydrogen in the decarbonisation of construction machinery was discussed.

✔️ Project consortium meeting, advancing coordination and defining next steps (María García Camprubí; José Carlos Peña, Borja Clavijo, Isabel Echeverribar Pérez, Ignacio Ainsa, Ivan Echeverría, Sergio Serrano Tomás; Jorge Cuartero Dastis; Javier Salvador; Raúl Santos Morales, Guillermo Giménez Rota, David Jiménez Ruiz, Silvia Stephany Zárate Roldán, Emre Karakurt, Julio García Ramiro; Alberto José Herrero Zabaleta, Íñigo Martín, Martin Pontén, Martin Lehmann, Tanja Heilmann, Jouko Laitinen).

✔️ Interviews with different industry stakeholders, strengthening the project’s dissemination and positioning (Cámara de Comercio de Zaragoza https://lnkd.in/etHZR7rX).

H2MAC is focused on developing hydrogen-based solutions for construction machinery, contributing to the transition towards more sustainable and efficient equipment.
